Visitors are strictly prohibited from carrying any food items during the safari.
- No Plastic Allowed:
The use of plastic materials is strictly prohibited within the safari premises.
- Restriction on Mobile Phone Usage for Drivers and Naturalists:
Drivers and naturalists are not permitted to use mobile phones during the safari for safety reasons.
- Tourist Mobile Phone Usage:
Tourists are prohibited from using mobile phones during the safari to ensure a peaceful and undisturbed environment.
- Age Restriction for Children:
Children under the age of 5 years are not allowed to participate in the safari.
- Dress Code for Tourists:
Tourists are advised not to wear bright colors that may disturb the wildlife.
- Prohibition of Feeding Animals:
Visitors are strictly forbidden from feeding any animals encountered during the safari.
- Remain in the Vehicle:
It is mandatory for visitors to stay inside their vehicles at all times during the safari.
- Stay on Designated Tourism Roads:
Visitors are not allowed to drive off the designated tourism roads during the safari.
- No Teasing of Animals:
Visitors must refrain from teasing or disturbing the wildlife in any manner.
- No Collection of Materials:
Collecting any material from the protected area is strictly prohibited.
- Respect for Driver/Naturalist's Judgment:
Visitors are required to respect the judgment of the driver/naturalist regarding the proximity to certain wild animals for the safety of all participants.
- Mandatory Identity Card Requirement:
All visitors must carry a government-issued identity card (such as Aadhaar, Driving License, Voter ID, or Passport) with their name and address. One of the mentioned documents is required for entry.
- No Toilet Breaks:
There will be no provision for toilet breaks during the safari, so visitors are advised to plan accordingly.
- Maintain Silence and Vehicle Etiquette:
Visitors must maintain silence during the safari. Peeping out or putting hands outside the safari vehicle is strictly prohibited to ensure safety and prevent disturbance to wildlife.
- Strict Prohibitions During Safari:
Making loud noises, teasing and feeding wildlife, disposing of plastic waste, spitting, consumption of liquor, smoking, and the use of narcotic drugs are strictly prohibited during the safari. Violations may result in fines.
- Punishment for Unauthorized Entry/Movement:
Unauthorized entry or movement within the Tiger Reserve is a punishable offense.
- Minimum Seats Requirement:
A minimum of 10 seats per vehicle per trip must be booked for the safari to operate.
- Exclusive Departmental Undertaking:
Safaris and all other tourism activities are solely undertaken by the department and are not entrusted to any travel agency or individuals.
- Refund and Cancellation Policy:
If visitors do not show up as per the booking manifest, refunds or cancellations cannot be availed for safari tickets.
- Cancellation by Nagarhole Tiger Reserve:
Nagarhole Tiger Reserve reserves the right to cancel bookings in case of unavoidable circumstances. In such cases, refunds will be issued.
Any violation of these terms and conditions may result in the following actions:
- Preventive Measures:
Visitors found violating these rules may be stopped from participating in the safari before it commences.
- Blacklisting:
Individuals who repeatedly violate these terms may be blacklisted, preventing them from participating in future safaris.
